NEW QA AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS DIRECTOR FOR BRECON
Leading pharmaceutical outsource packaging services provider Brecon Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Dr Russell Thomson as Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
Russell, a QP and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, has spent his entire career in the pharmaceutical industry and has
extensive experience in API manufacture as well as patent products, generic products and contract manufacturing and packaging.
He joins Brecon after three and half years with pharmaceutical company Norgine Limited where he held a number of senior roles
within QA, most recently as Site Head of Quality for Norgine's Hengoed site.
In his new role, Russell will be reporting directly to Brecon's President and Managing Director John Bath and will be joining
the company's senior executive team.
Russell will be taking over the QA mantle from Mike Parker who has recently left Brecon after 17 years. John Bath
said, "Mike always held the highest standards for himself and for the company, and was uncompromising when it came to quality. We
wish him all the very best for the future."
He continued, "We are delighted to have someone with Russell's knowledge and experience to take over the QA and Regulatory
Affairs role from Mike Parker."
