As part of its comprehensive packaging service, Brecon Pharmaceuticals offers sachet and strip packaging as well as heat seal walleting and has recently boosted its sachet and strip filling capabilities with the installation of a Universal Pack NVCP-2 twin lane sachet machine. The new machine is fully automatic and has a very rapid throughput which provides the company with a competitive edge in this sector of the market.

The NVCP-2 can handle sachets of powder and granulates from 1g to 100g at speeds up to 120/min. A multi-function controller allows easy size changes through the pre-setting of up to 20 different sachet configurations/requirements.

By utilising the strip packaging change parts, the NVCP-2 can pack up to 120 tablets/min in perforated strips with the number per strip determined by a pre-set batch counter. Coding of all products is carried out by thermal coder and/or ink jet printer which are integral to the new line.
